RBS facilitated the acquisition of Forbes Russia by new owner

Magomed Musayev, an entrepreneur, venture capitalist and owner of the Global Venture Alliance, has become the new owner.

As a part of this task, the project team, consisting of representatives of all divisions, carried out urgent due diligence of the asset, developed a shareholder agreement, and supported the negotiation and signing of a share purchase agreement. After the transaction, RBS consultants developed a set of measures aimed at restructuring the company and improving its business processes, including an objective assessment of the company's financial position, tax optimization and measures to improve corporate governance.

In addition, within the framework of the new corporate structure, regulations on new management bodies at Forbes Russia were developed: the Management Board and the Board of Directors. The main task of the Board of Directors, which included well-known media managers and entrepreneurs, was to create and implement a new development strategy for the magazine.

At the moment we provide comprehensive subscriber services for Forbes Russia and have developed a system to prevent legal and financial risks. It was an honour for us to participate in such an interesting project and become a part of the team of one of the most reputable business editions in the World.
